Tokyo, Japan (Toranomon Station)
Located on the 51st floor of the newest Mori building, Toranomon Hills, this hotel offers a different view of Tokyo, that of the Imperial Palace along with the urban sprawl.
It is especially important to ask for a window seat when making your reservation since there are a number of unfortunate tables that will give you no view, whatsoever. We were seated so that I faced the rest of the restaurant with the view on the side (not at the window), and my friend faced the wall/wait station. Not exactly ideal.
The munchies were tasty, but the portions were rather small. Other than that, I would mention that the choux pastry was a bit tough on the outside. Unfortunately, there was a lot of choux pastry used. In the savories… in the sweets…
Obviously, the best part of this tea was the view. Other than that, the experience was average.
Tea 4/5, unlimited, good variety
Atmosphere 3/5, ask for a seat by the window
